The Hawks U18 boys put in a strong performance against a talented Queens BC side but fell short 78–64 in their season opener.
Samuel led the way with an outstanding 38 points, combining scoring with excellent communication and leadership throughout the game. Despite playing with only eight players, the Hawks fought hard from start to finish, showing real resilience and teamwork.
Foul trouble and turnovers proved costly in the closing stages, but the team can take plenty of positives from their effort, energy, and togetherness against today's opponents. Coaches Emanuil and James were very proud of the boys today but know they still have a lot to work on.
